Virtue Poker Announcement Hi All, We apologize for not keeping more regular communication. We have been heads down working on our platform rebuild. With that - we are deprecating the current Virtue Poker application today. What does this means? ⁃ The current application will be sunset ⁃ All player funds will be refunded to your Source of Funds wallet (all funds (VPP/ETH) will be removed from the sidechian) ⁃ A record will be maintained for players with outstanding GOLD balances that can still be redeemed ⁃ A record will be maintained of all players who have pre-purchased NFTs Why are we doing this? Virtue is in the midst of a total platform rebuild - and we do not plan on using the current platform any further. Without an active promotion - there is minimal to no volume on the current platform. The cost of operations for our current app while not significant, is not insignificant and that budget can be better put to use in our app rebuild/re-launch. What happens to the sidechain? Part of the app shutdown includes closing and shutting down the sidechain. The web3 ecosystem has evolved dramatically since we first moved towards a hybrid mainnet/sidechain solution nearly 3 years ago. Today there are several L2s (or equivalents) - and moving forward we plan to only use Ethereum, and other major chains/L2s. Why not run a new promotion while the new platform is being built? While understandably - it’d be most ideal to just keep promotions running while we are in our rebuild - unfortunately the cost - both in time, money and team focus are detrimental towards completing our goal of Virtue 2.0. We use promotions to test player feedback on the application, promo structure, engagement metrics, and typically utilize them for acquisition of new players. Given the fact we are moving to a new platform - it will be more efficient to utilize a promotion when the new platform is ready. What are your plans for NFTs? We have completed all 5500 NFT PokerDogs. The great news is the designs are fantastic - and we believe them to be a big asset - but in the right market - with the right product ready to go. For now - we have delayed launching our collection given the current market, and our current development status. All of those who have pre-purchased will still receive their NFTs first when launched. Will there be any updates on when Virtue plans to launch their new application and a new promotion? We will provide a more detailed update next week. The Virtue Poker Team
